They sell you a service that you can't cancel while not in use. You are unable to sell back the equipment after use so that they resell it as refurbished. Different departments had different pass codes for me causing issues with verification when I set off a false alarm because communication is not handled properly within the company. We had Protect America for 4 years. This month our home was broken into, the alarm never went off and we were never notified. So extremely disappointed with this security company. If I wasn't locked in for 3 yrs, I would ditch them in a heartbeat. I thought they had the best deal with not having to buy the equipment up front. I have had PAI For almost 3 Years Now Come December 2014 and I am always having issues with my equiptment. I am 1300 miles away from the property and wanted peace of mind with an alarm. Each time I call them I have to be standing in front of the key pads fir them to help me out but I tell them where I am at and all I get us, "Sorry but we can't help you unless you are at the property." Protect america does nothing but tell lies. They are kind and upfront until u sign their contract then you are at their mercy. They do not care about their customers. They will try to sell you items that you dont need. They don't explain their return policy, warranty,etc... i wouldn't recommend these scam artists. They just want your money.
