So extremely disappointed with this security company. If I wasn't locked in for 3 yrs, I would ditch them in a heartbeat. I thought they had the best deal with not having to buy the equipment up front. I have had PAI For almost 3 Years Now Come December 2014 and I am always having issues with my equiptment. I am 1300 miles away from the property and wanted peace of mind with an alarm. Each time I call them I have to be standing in front of the key pads fir them to help me out but I tell them where I am at and all I get us, "Sorry but we can't help you unless you are at the property." Protect america does nothing but tell lies. They are kind and upfront until u sign their contract then you are at their mercy. They do not care about their customers. They will try to sell you items that you dont need. They don't explain their return policy, warranty,etc... i wouldn't recommend these scam artists. They just want your money. They don't care if your house is protected Add comment

I am cancelling the service at this time. I am no longer in need of your service. I never received a letter stating that my contract time was over but I am expected to pay for the amount for the time I was unaware that I was not covered. Have different company now and I am happy. Lost well over $500 because they were not able to provide proper equipment for our preinstalled security system after we had moved. After paying all the fees to cancel our contract we were pleasantly surprised when we signed on with one of their competitors who provided better equipment, a LIVE technician who visited our house, and a wonderful introduction rate. I moved shortly after purchasing this home monitoring service product. At the time of sign up, I was told my monthly fee would be in the $20 range. before moving, I ordered a camera which I never used and never set up ~ but they started charging $47. Then, the amount came down to $37 at some point, but then they add monthly tax and the bill is $40 plus. I told them I wanted out of the contract... Read more

I purchased a security system in April on this year. I called to cancel my service within the 14day allotted time to send it back. Prior to me sending it back I had been on the phone daily with different representative asking me to give them a chance to correct my issue. The sales rep lied about upgrading our existing security system. The sales rep never gave us a contract agreement. I or protect America was not able to reach him. We found out he stole our gps tracking device when we called after a few days of starting service. I was charged for overnight shipping and a month of service after I cancelled. I am still waiting for my refund. I call everyday... Add comment
